NCIS Isn’t Slowing Down — CBS Locks In Season 24

Since its 2003 debut, the beloved CBS series has drawn in audiences with its engaging crime-solving stories. We've seen stars like Mark Harmon and Michael Weatherly come and go over the years, but honestly, the show has remained a television fixture that fans can't imagine living without.

Longtime fans can breathe easy. On January 22, CBS dropped a bombshell announcement that had everyone cheering. The franchise's Instagram revealed that NCIS is coming back for season 24, and they're bringing along the spinoffs too—NCIS: Sydney got the green light for season 4, and NCIS: Origins is returning for season 3.

But wait, there's more. Wilmer (who plays SSA Nick Torres) jumped on his own Instagram to celebrate the renewal and remind everyone that new episodes are just around the corner.

"We'll be back for a Season 24!!! 🎉," he posted with a video of the cast reacting to the news. "But first ... NCIS returns March 3 at 8PM ET/PT on @cbstv and streaming on @paramountplus."

As expected, fans went wild in the comments.

"Let's go, Congratulations to season 24! 👏🔥❤️," one person cheered. "YEEEAAAHHH! LOVE THIS SHOW! LOVE THIS TEAM!! ❤️❤️❤️," someone else shouted. "Best news! So happy 🔥," another fan chimed in.

This announcement comes right after viewers found out the season 23 midseason premiere got pushed back a week because of the State of the Union address on February 24, 2026, at 9 p.m. ET.

So yeah, we've got to wait just a little bit longer—but hey, at least we know there's plenty more coming for our favorite agents!
