Kevin Costner has a new furry friend! The 69-year-old Yellowstone actor recently announced on Instagram that he's adopted a white Labrador Retriever puppy.

Costner shared a series of heartwarming photos of himself and his new pup, who has yet to be named. The photos show the two bonding, with Costner cuddling the puppy in his arms and the pup playfully exploring the outdoors.

"Newest addition to the family," Costner captioned the photos. "I'm already in love with this special guy."

Fans and followers quickly took to the comments section to congratulate Costner on his new family member and suggest names for the adorable pup. Some suggested names like "Crash" and "Aspen," while others simply commented on the puppy's cuteness.

This news comes after a year of significant changes in Costner's life. In April, he announced his departure from the hit show "Yellowstone" after five seasons. He later revealed that the decision was due to the show's decision to split season five into two parts and failed contract negotiations.

In May, Costner's wife of 18 years, Christine Baumgartner, filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple settled their divorce in September, and Baumgartner has since moved on to a new relationship.

Kevin Costner has always been one of my very favorite actors. He can make any role he plays seem to very real. I especially liked "The Bodyguard" and several others that he has stared in. He will be fine, he is a strong and wonderful man.
