Tom Selleck Has Been Married For 35 Years – Still Leaves His Wife Love Notes!

Love Can Last—Even in Hollywood
We’re used to hearing about Hollywood breakups, aren’t we? One week it’s a shocking split, the next it’s another “amicable” divorce. It can make anyone question whether love can survive the spotlight. But some couples prove that it can.
Just look at Tom Selleck and Jillie Mack. Married for 35 years (yes, you read that right), they’re living proof that a strong, happy marriage is possible—even in an industry where relationships often don’t make it past the red carpet.
35 Years and Counting: Meet Tom & Jilly
Long before it became trendy to gush about celebrity couples like Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, Tom and Jillie were quietly building a life together. They’ve weathered the ups and downs of Hollywood while keeping their relationship grounded—and full of sweet, simple traditions.

According to friends, Tom and Jillie agreed early on never to let arguments spiral. As one friend shared, quoting Tom himself:
“We decided long ago that fighting was a waste of time. If we had a difference of opinion, we’d sit down over tea or a meal and talk it through.”
It’s a refreshingly straightforward approach: Instead of shouting matches, they make time to talk—over something as comforting as a cup of tea. And humor helps, too. That same friend revealed,
“Jillie has a great sense of humor, so our talks often end with both of us laughing. And laughter really is the best medicine.”

Little Gestures, Big Love
Conflict resolution isn’t the only thing that keeps them strong. Tom is a true romantic who shows his love in small, thoughtful ways every day.

Morning Tea & Love Notes
Every morning, Tom gets up early to make Jillie a cup of tea and brings it to her before she even gets out of bed. When he’s away filming Blue Bloods, he writes love poems and hides them around the house for Jillie to find.
Texts & Flowers
Even after decades together, Tom keeps things flirty: he sends Jillie playful, sexy texts, and never forgets to surprise her with flowers from their local florist.

Beyond the sweet gestures, Tom and Jillie have built a real, shared life on their 65-acre avocado ranch in California. There, they raised their daughter Hannah, now 35, who became a professional horse show jumper. Their separate interests and passions help them stay connected without feeling smothered—a balance many couples struggle to find.

What We Can Learn From Tom & Jillie
Most of us don’t live on sprawling ranches or have famous spouses, but there’s still plenty we can take from their story:
✅ Talk it out. Calm, honest conversations beat explosive fights every time.
✅ Make small gestures. A cup of tea, a note, or a quick text can mean everything.
✅ Keep the romance alive. Decades together don’t mean romance has to die—if anything, it’s more important than ever.
A Hollywood Love Worth Celebrating
At 80, Tom Selleck continues to remind us what real love looks like. His enduring marriage to Jillie is a sweet counterpoint to the endless Hollywood breakup headlines. Their story is proof that the simplest things—like a warm cup of tea and a good laugh—can keep love strong for a lifetime.
