This is what traveling in Berlin was like during the Cold War

This is how it was to travel through Berlin during the Cold War.

When the wall fell, my father put us in the car and we headed down to Berlin. It was a historic moment not to be missed. I remember the freeway trip from West Germany to Berlin being a bit uncomfortable and I realized that it wasn't something I made up later when I watched this movie that teaches you how to get into Berlin. It was not pleasant to drive through this highway corridor during the Cold War.

The film is from 1988 and is recorded for personnel of the British Royal Military Police.
